The Worshipful Master and Brethren of Surfside Lodge #112 are happy that you stopped by to visit our site. This site is available for all to make inquiries concerning Prince Hall Masonry and the Lodge itself. We consider our Lodge to be the best within the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge California.
Our Lodge History
Surfside Lodge, Under Dispensation ( UD) of Oceanside, California was granted Dispensation on 30 December 1981, by the Most Worshipful Grand Master William D. Leach.
Founding Members were: Clarence Drewery, Worshipful Master; Walter F. Dickerson, Senior Warden; Ronald Jones, Junior Warden; Milton Gilmore Jr., Treasurer; James L. Edwards, Secretary; George Oakley, Senior Deacon; James Phyfher, Junior Deacon.
Surfside Lodge #112, F and AM of Oceanside, California was constituted with a Charter on 30 October 1982 by the Most Worshipful Grand Master William D. Leach of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of the State of California Incorporated.
Charter Principle Officers, Clarence Drewery, Worshipful Master; Milton Gilmore; Senior Warden; and Ronald Jones, Junior Warden, were charged to open and hold a Lodge designated as Surfside Lodge #112, under Grand Lodge register and jurisdiction at, Oceanside in the State of California.
